I wrote this book nearly 17 years ago and even though I haven't actively published it for nearly 12 of those years, it seems to keep popping up as an easy to understand guide to anatomy, physiology and massage therapy for new learners. I still recommend it highly because of it's easy-going style of writing, which takes the fear out of learning about how are bodies are put together. Just don't purchase this expecting to be a "Paramedic" by the time you are done reading it... but regardless of the form that your health care education may take, you will find this to be an excellent introduction to more complex subjects. When I re-read this version I found myself laughing at my own poor jokes and its sometimes silly analogies and metaphors, but regardless of it's sometimes amateurish approach, it still seems to work for new learners (and myself)... I will soon be updating it and re-issuing it through Amazon (along with the 8-hour video that I produced for it as a companion for visual learners) until then, enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. -Cal Cooley
